A few days into fall quarter and...no. Can't say I'm really having much fun.
For various reasons that I won't make public; if you're close to me, you'll likely have to listen to me QQing about it.

Anyway, turns out I did fail sculpture in the end.
Boo. So I'm in it again along with fundamentals of painting and introduction to 3D modeling.
3D modeling which I'm not supposed to be in until I pass sculpture, but eh. I roll like that.

So far they're going good. Painting and 3D modeling are fun. Sculpture is going to be like an independent study--I chose my projects and their due-dates. Glee~

But yeah...Monday was utter suck. Tuesday was a bit better, but the evening have ended up ruining the day as a whole for me. Like this evening.

Right-o. Going to bed...yes...

First, let me tell you the tale of Drunk Tom.

We don't know his real name, but we call him Tom now for reasons you will soon learn.

So, it was an unassuming Thursday afternoon and myself along with my friends Cassie, Dom, and Josh were walking to the Metro in the Underground. We'd just had lunch and were chatting when out of the blue, a man stopped us to point out a poster.

This poster is an ad for the Army I believe and shows a step-by-step instruction for a father to give his son a pat on the back for getting a B in class. Something like that...but on the poster, the boy's name is Tom. So...this man who stopped us. He was drunk. And this was at around noon...but he was pretty gone. Possibly high on top of drunk, but we're not sure. Tom stopped us to show us the proper way to do the back pat and went on about how people are too serious nowadays and don't praise each other for accomplishments. Oh and apparently Tom on the poster would have gotten a burger and not a back-pat if he'd gotten an A, but it's better than an F.

We laughed politely and hoped Drunk Tom would go about his business, but as we walked, Tom kept turning around to talk to us. About how the world went to hell when the Greatful Dead stopped touring. He used to follow them around and live in the little villages...Tom was probably a pot head. Now Tom works for the government in homeland security, protecting us from the fake terrorists. Also, Tom's been to Europe where they don't wear those security badges like here (the ones that you use to get into the offices and such; I have one for the elivator at school and the one at the apartment building).

When Tom was finally out of earshot, we all burst out laughing.
It made my week.

And so that was the story of Drunk Tom.

So, after seeing 9 and enjoying it quite a bit (yes, it was short and moved kinda fast as far as plot and character development/death), I've decided I want to do a cosplay. A group cosplay.

I already have my own costume figured out and want to get to work on the others. I am going to be 3 (one of the twins).

So far, I also have:
as 4 (the other twin)
as 8
as 6
as 7

We would go to the next con in the DC area with these, but I want to push for mine to be done for Halloween. Because I haven't dressed up for it in two years and it's pissing me off >,>
